Cascade Springs

We went to Cascade Springs for a nice Sunday outing. It was so nice. I had never been there before and since it wasn't too far and since we were already up the canyon, we figured that it was worth a shot. It was so pretty. They had water fountains throughout the trailways and it was really good. Porter was picking things along both sides of him, but we had to watch out that he didn't get the stinging nettle. That would have sucked big time. It was really warm and I got sunburned on my shoulders, but it was nice to get out since I haven't done a whole lot of walking or hiking since my surgery. The only bad thing is that my other ankle is hurting. Not a big surprise. I was going to get it fixed anyways.

We stopped at a camp area in the canyon and made lunch. We barbequed hot dogs and brats. And Porter ate some dirt and pinecones. LOL. His face was so dirty and he would put his hands in the chips. So gross. He got a hold of Seth's soda can and decided to drink it himself. That was hilarious. It dumped all down the front of him and he got this surprised look on his face. It was funny. It's a lot harder to control him now that he is walking all over the place. Holy crap, he is so fast. He was throwing a rock and watching the dust from the impact and then making hand prints in the dirt. He is such a cutie!
